These days, traditional gas vehicles have excellent MPG outputs. From a sedan, like the Toyota Corolla, to an SUV, like the Toyota RAV4, you can go farther on a tank of gas than ever before. What Else Makes a Toyota Hybrid Unique?

Aside from better MPG outputs and different engines with low emissions, there are multiple components a Toyota hybrid doesn’t have in relation to its gas counterparts. For example, you’ll notice that Toyota hybrid transmissions don’t have set gear ratios. Instead, they use electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmissions (ECVT), which further increases MPG output.
